The fine arts Ministry is a very active ministry seeking to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ through creative drama and other fine arts expression. The ministry is presently led by our Preaching Pastor, Barry Thornton. In the years past, the Fine Arts Ministry has sponsored a yearly Dinner Theatre at Christmas. Most recently the "Paraboloi" Group, drama teams doing Sunday morning short skits to accentuate the messages, has organized. "Paraboloi" is a Greek word that means 'parables' or, short discourses that make a comparison and often express a single, complete thought.

Return to Cricket County cast & crew

In 2002, "At Bethlehem Inn" was presented with over 100 participants. In 2003, "God is With Us Always" was presented, approximately 95 individuals participating in one, way, shape or form. In 2004, "Christmas in Cricket County" was performed, the first in a trilogy of plays, with over 110 individuals being involved. In early 2006, after getting through the transition of moving into our new building, "Return to Cricket County" was presented in January...a little late for Christmas, but still relevant in its message of "forgiving and forgetting". In 2006, on December 8th and 9th, "A Cricket County City Christmas" was performed, rounding out the Cricket County trilogy of plays.
